At the West Virginia Regional Technology Park, we love shining a light on our tenants- the innovators who push boundaries, deliver expert services, and turn ideas into real-world impact.
This month's spotlight is on Atlas Prediction Control; a highly specialized engineering firm focused on predictive and process control technologies for the plastics manufacturing industry.
Founded in 2019 by Madhur Bedre and headquartered at the West Virginia Regional Technology Park, Atlas Prediction Control helps plastics manufacturers stay ahead of challenges through advanced process and predictive control services—ensuring efficiency, consistency, and high-quality products.

We recently had the opportunity to catch up with Madhur to learn more about the mission behind Atlas Prediction Control. Here's what he had to say:
Tell us briefly what your company does and the work you do here at the WV Regional Technology Park.
Atlas Prediction Control is a highly specialized engineering firm specializing in predictive and process control technologies for the plastics manufacturing industry. Founded in 2019, we deliver automation solutions and services that optimize industrial processes and improve asset performance. The company’s core offerings include proprietary software development, advanced control systems, and specialized R&D services tailored to large-scale petrochemical and plastics manufacturers. Atlas serves end-customers in over 20 countries globally from its offices here in the WV Regional Technology Park.
Why did you choose to locate your business at the Tech Park?
West Virginia is the birthplace of some of the most revolutionary ideas and technologies in plastic manufacturing, and specifically, the Tech Park still hosts some of the most historically influential plastics R&D assets and customers. In addition, I started my career working with these customers at the Tech Park in 2012. So it was a natural choice when I started Atlas in 2019 given my roots and the access to the ecosystem.
What are you most excited about for your company in the coming year?
In 2024, we began developing a next-generation AI product suite to extend our capabilities beyond traditional process control. This is an exciting area and is central to our Vision 2030. I truly believe that we are the most capable and well-suited team to tackle the challenges in our narrow niche by augmenting various AI applications to the traditional physics and statistics informed process control. This platform is currently undergoing customer validations/trials and we hope to start commercialization within 2026-2027.Â
Atlas Prediction Control is a prime example of the forward-thinking companies doing impactful work right here at the West Virginia Regional Technology Park. We're proud to support their continued work and look forward to seeing their journey unfold.
