The cafe at the West Virginia Regional Technology Park has a new operator! The Violet Kitchen, owned by Veronica Hashey and managed by Eric Foster, is housed in Building 2000 on the Tech Park campus. The restaurant is open to the public Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with free parking near the cafe's entrance. For breakfast, The Violet Kitchen offers an assortment of breakfast sandwiches, bagels and pastries. The lunch menu includes a variety of sandwiches, hot dogs, burgers, salads and soups. Catering is also available.
The Violet Kitchen will serve as a hub for networking and collaboration amongst the Tech Park's diverse tenants, BridgeValley Community & Technical College students and community members. The cafe also provides tenants with the opportunity to enjoy a variety of breakfast and lunch options without leaving the campus, as well as a one-stop-shop for tenants who need catering services for business meetings and events.
"The addition of The Violet Kitchen enhances the overall workplace experience, making the West Virginia Regional Technology Park a more attractive and desirable location for businesses and employees alike," said Matt Ballard, CEO/executive director for the West Virginia Regional Technology Park. "From offering delicious breakfast, lunch and catering options to creating a meeting place to foster connections, spark creativity, and build a sense of togetherness amongst tenants and guests, we couldn't be happier to have The Violet Kitchen here at the Tech Park."
As the Tech Park continues to grow, we're focused on providing accessible amenities that contribute to a positive and enjoyable work environment for tenants, their clients and guests.
